  What a shame! The whole thing started off so well. The porch was due for completion in 6 weeks, however 18+ weeks and... well sort of completed. They won't accept responsibility for delays outside of their control, however when the delays are due to them they won't accept responsibility either! BOS have a payment system set up where as you pay them in instalments, however 25% is due upon completion of all work on site. The problem being they request the final 25% money to be paid over 3 instalments before the  work is completed. Of course I refused which then resulted in the work being sloppy and substandard. Having to arrive home, when he had actually decided to turn up to work to no more than a grown man acting like a petulant child and stropping around the site. It turns out that he was acting as sub contractor up north and designing cutting and erecting their project and popping in and out of mine when he felt like it. (This is the one job I found about, apart from completing his home project before paying customers) Plus to rub my nose in it they even posted photos on social media while I'm living with a very much uncompleted porch. Do not believe a word he says, he is very convincing but he is a complete liar. Get absolutely everything in writing! And check his terminology he even tried to charge me for 'hanging' a door where as fitting the door was included, not to mention his issue with trying to charge VAT on products I know he hasn't paid VAT on! He then arrives to "complete" work then emails stating the porch is complete and requires payment. When i then explain why I'm not paying in full due to work being substandard even dangerous to how the sockets were done and even enclosing photos I received no apology, just excuses and points being made that things are ok. No way to run a business or treat customers. Using own family to leave reviews!!!! Then 1 week after sending invoice threaten legal action even though issues with the job and refusing to return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  The service from Bespoke Oak Structures was excellent from the quotation stage of the project through to the delivery. Antonio has a great eye for design and details and we made several tweaks to the original plans after discussions, all of which enhanced the final result. The price was very competitive, but the quality of work was not compromised. The structure went up without any problems and looks fantastic. I would have no hesitation recommending BOS, we are thrilled with the outcome.
